What this site is
Gift Trade Direct is an information resource for the wholesale gift industry. We publish a current trade show calendar, an industry glossary, sourcing guides, and short profiles of established gift manufacturers.
Why it exists
The wholesale gift industry runs on a distribution model that hasn't changed much in forty years — manufacturers, rep groups, showrooms, twice-yearly trade shows. The system works, but it leaves a gap online. Buyers Google show dates and get fragmented results. New shop owners don't know the vocabulary. We close a small piece of that gap.
What we don't do
We don't sell products. We don't broker introductions. We're not a marketplace. We're a reference site — free, public, no login required.
Editorial standards
Show dates and details come from official show organizer sources. We verify before publishing and update when changes are announced. Brand profiles are based on public information from the manufacturer's own site, line sheets, and trade press coverage. We don't accept payment for inclusion.
